The 14th “Magical Mirai” takes “Sonare by the Lake” as its theme. Illustrator Wata (緜) drew Hatsune Miku descending onto a beautifully expansive lake, and that vision has now been brought to life as a 1/7 scale figure.
Every detail of the illustration has been carefully rendered, from the crisp, clear atmosphere by the water’s edge to the way light shimmers across the scene. Her gesture of gently resting a hand on her straw hat while smiling softly, paired with her upward glance toward the viewer, is especially striking, capturing an adorable expression you’ll want to keep gazing back at.
Her outfit features delicately sculpted, multi-layered ruffles rendered with careful attention to even the slightest graceful movement.
