Bringing Home DUE・ROSSO
The figure in hand is Rocket Boy’s DUE・ROSSO, in 1/6 scale and about 300 mm tall. Sculpted by makoto, painted by Kimura, character design by Ban!.
Ban! has been drawing futanari for a long time, and the work has been made into figures more than a few times. Rocket Boy’s first futanari figure, Duva, used one of their characters; so did the very first figure I ever bought — Q-six’s BUNNY GIRL Izayoi Erika, 1/5, from 2019. There is a body they draw again and again, and you learn to recognize it: long, tall, thin through the limbs, little difference between waist and hip. What happens below the waist is handed almost entirely to interchangeable crotch parts.
DUE・ROSSO is a prison guard. The series has a second figure, DUAL・NERO, shipping this month; Rosso and Nero are Italian for red and black, and the two uniforms swap colours to match — this one is a red uniform over black lingerie and thigh-highs, the other a black uniform with red lines running through it.

Review
The red guard’s uniform hangs off her shoulders, back and arms and nothing else, the front left wide open. Under it, black cord lingerie and a thong, black thigh-highs banded in gold, gold heels, and a peaked cap with a red crown and a dark brim. Red, black and gold each hold their own place. One knee on the seat, the other leg down, her weight through the stool, and something faintly provocative in the face.
The hair is a translucent material and reads light when the light gets through it. The baton at her hip is translucent as well. Turn the shoes over and the soles are gold, engraved, with a heart stamped in the middle; a gold line runs up the back of each thigh-high. The dent where her knee presses into the cushion is sculpted in.
The paint is what surprised me. Set against Rocket Boy’s recent work, the roughness is plain to see: overspray, grime, seams left too wide, surfaces that are not flat, scratches. The worst of it is the collar, where black from the standing collar has crept out over the red lapel and hazed it grey.
Three crotch parts. This is how Ban!’s figures have been built for years: one set of swappable pieces multiplies what the lower body can do without multiplying the cost. The price of that has not changed either — the joins between parts show clearly, and they are awkward to swap. The 2019 Q-six BUNNY GIRL Izayoi Erika (tan ver.) 1/5 on my shelf is notorious for how hard it is to take apart; a little too much force and you are left with a scratch or with paint transferred where it should not be. DUE・ROSSO has not solved this, and up close the joins are perfectly visible.
Display has its limits too. The cap is tabbed into the head and does not come off, so there is no hat-in-hand option. The condom part in her hand simply clips between the fingers, and whether you fit it is up to you. The interchangeable face part is the masked face; I tried it, did not think it improved on the original, and put the first one back. The face itself is particular about angle. Ban!’s faces want a specific one, and looked at straight on and level the features read too far apart.
The seat of the stool sits slightly off level. The red of the cushion is dark and muddy too, and it never separates from the red of the uniform. The box, on the other hand, is unusually flat — good news for anyone short on shelf space.
Verdict
The design is still why I like her. The translucent hair and baton, the heart on the sole, the gold line up the back of the stockings — in those places the care is visible.
The trouble is the finish: overspray, grime, seams too wide, uneven surfaces and scratches, and a muddy treatment overall, which puts her clearly below Rocket Boy’s recent standard. The old complaint about interchangeable crotch parts survives untouched.
What worries me more is what comes next. DUAL・NERO from the same series ships shortly, and a pre-order placed with NATIVE Store cannot be cancelled. After seeing this one, I have little confidence in the next.
